Apparatus engineering

At our plant, we manufacture apparatus, complete systems and containers made of stainless steel for a wide range of applications and industries. This also includes the development of new prototypes from this durable and low-maintenance material. We fulfill customer requirements for the chemical and pharmaceutical industries, offer solutions in the field of medical technology and implement projects for power plant construction as well as for paper, environmental and food technology.

The hard and homogeneous nature of stainless steel surfaces enables compliance with the highest hygiene standards. Stainless steel is characterized by a particularly smooth and inert surface, which is also scratch and abrasion resistant. This means that bacteria, germs and other contaminants cannot adhere to the surface. At the same time, migration - the process in which a chemical substance is transferred to another material - is minimized.

From robust support systems to intricately processed and complex container systems, we are glad to handle the entire project for you. Our services include planning, calculation and production as well as assembly on your premises.

Plant engineering

FROM CONVEYOR SYSTEMS AND PUMPING STATIONS TO COMPLETE WORK SYSTEMS

We have been developing and designing systems tailored to your needs and area of application for 20 years now. Our planning and development experts can look back on a large number of projects for a wide range of industries: Our technology is used in the packaging and food industries or in the construction industry, for example.

Thanks to our expertise and state-of-the-art software, we are able to solve even complex design tasks efficiently and reliably using structural-mechanical calculations (FEM). Depending on the area of application, we process the right material for you: from steel, chromium-nickel steel, duplex steel and wear-resistant steel to aluminum and high-nickel alloys through to titanium and copper alloys.

Areas of application Investment types
  • Chemical and pharmaceutical industry
  • Food industry
  • Paper and environmental technology
  • Power station construction
  • Stainless steel containers for every need
  • Funnel conical and eccentric
  • Inox trays for any application
  • Stainless steel piping systems

Quality through professional and competent processing of stainless steel

We specialize in the processing of stainless steels and high-grade alloys such as

  • austenitic stainless steels: e.g. 1.4301, 14541, 14571, 1.4404, 1.4529, 1.4539
  • austenitic stainless steels, including nickel-based alloys: e.g. 2.4602, 2.4605, 2.4360,
  • Heat-resistant steels: e.g. 1.4828, 1.4878
  • Duplex and super duplex steels: e.g. 1.4460, 1.4462, 1.4410
  • Aluminum

Welding

Whether in the MIG/MAG, TIG or orbital processes - we have over 25 years of experience in welding technology and work exclusively with trained specialists.

All our employees are certified welders in accordance with EN ISO 9606-1 and these tests are repeated at regular intervals. In addition, some of our employees have passed special process tests in the field of plant and apparatus engineering and pipeline construction.

We are proficient in all welding processes for processing stainless steel from 0.5 mm thickness:

  • TIG/WIG
  • MIG/MAG
  • ORBITAL (DN15 - DN 120)

We provide welding procedure qualifications (WPQR) and welding procedure specifications (WPS) in accordance with DIN 15609 and DIN15614-1 for all welding processes and combinations thereof.

Our specialist personnel are also certified to DIN ISO 9712 level 2. We can apply the following test procedures:

  • PT (dye penetrant testing)
  • VT (visual inspection)

Surface treatment

Trowalizing (vibratory finishing)

The edges of the workpieces are deburred in a drum with grinding tools and are given a uniform surface structure.

We process steel and stainless materials separately on our two systems for workpieces with a maximum diameter of 200 mm.

Glass bead blasting system

In our blasting cabin, we treat workpieces with tiny glass beads. This gives them a homogeneous, even surface.

Room size:      1,200 x 800 x 600 mm
Unit weight:      max. 300 kg
Materials:         all stainless metals
Your benefits:   elegant surface structure for components in apparatus engineering

Other possible surface treatments

In addition to the two processes mentioned above, we offer the following options:

  • electropolishing
  • Spray pickling, immersion pickling and passivation
  • Galvanic coatings
  • Hot-dip galvanizing
  • Powder coating
  • Wet painting

Grinding

In order to meet customer requirements for optical and functional surface quality, specialists with many years of experience in grinding work with the utmost care and skill. We can grind, brush and polish any type of part up to a surface roughness of Ra <0.1 µm.

Of course, the roughness required by the customer can be checked and documented using calibrated measuring equipment.

All workstations are connected to a state-of-the-art extraction system.

Container construction

FROM DOUBLE-SHELL AND PRESSURE VESSELS TO COMPLETE FUNCTIONAL ASSEMBLIES

In addition to project-specific advice and professional design in 3D CAD, our team is also happy to assist you with complex engineering projects. Our production experts have certified welding tests that guarantee precise and high-quality processing. In addition, all manufacturing processes are subject to rigorous quality testing.

Our extensive range of machinery enables us to efficiently process a variety of materials under one roof. We process materials ranging from steel, chromium-nickel steel, duplex steel and wear-resistant steel to aluminum, nickel alloys, titanium and copper alloys, depending on the application.

On request, we can build tanks, containers, distribution equipment and silos in a wide range of dimensions. The surfaces can be supplied ground, polished or Halar-coated, depending on the application. We produce our certified pressure vessels, which are mainly used in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries, in accordance with the required Pressure Equipment Directive (EN 13445, AD 2000).
