We are looking for a service-orientated person to strengthen and supplement our sheet metal production department with immediate effect or by arrangement as a

Press Brake CNC Bending Press (100%)

You will be part of a team that demonstrates an exceptional willingness to learn and share new things, drive innovative solutions and actively contribute to the success of the company.

What are your tasks?

Setting up, operating and maintaining our two new Bystronic CNC press brakes
Reading and understanding technical drawings and plans
On-schedule production of orders
Bending according to specifications (single pieces and small series)
Developing new solutions and prototypes together with the development department
Measuring and testing the manufactured sheet metal parts

To complement our design department, we are looking for an entrepreneurial and service-orientated person to join us as an

Electrical Engineer HF / Technician (100%)

The following tasks await you:

Conceptualisation, calculation and detailed planning of electrical control systems for the industrial automation sector
Creating electrical diagrams with E-PLAN
Programming PLC Phoenix, Siemens, Eaton, etc.
Purchasing electrical automation components from suppliers and managing the internal warehouse
Preparation of AVOR documents for the electrical workshop or service department
Planning (drawing diagrams and creating parts lists) and programming the control software at control level as well as the corresponding visualisation according to customer requirements
Supporting project managers with extensive control and automation projects
Commissioning systems and machines, sometimes on site at the customer's premises

You have the following qualifications for this responsible position:

  • Completed vocational training as an automation technician with excellent technical knowledge or HF training specialising in electrical engineering
  • Professional use of MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in the field of automation
  • Knowledge of today's IT/communication tools
  • Fluent written and spoken German and good knowledge of English and French would be a great advantage

Your apprenticeship at DEVO-Tech

We train skilled workers in the following professions:

  • Plant and apparatus engineer EFZ (4 years)

From August 2024, we expect to have another vacancy for a 4-year apprenticeship as a plant and apparatus engineer. In addition to a very varied and practice-oriented apprenticeship, we offer you the opportunity to work in a team that dedicates itself to new and challenging projects every day with joy and ambition. We therefore also expect you to have a keen interest in and enjoy technology in the field of metalworking. In addition, a solid school report, diligence, reliability and a high willingness to learn are important prerequisites for a successful apprenticeship.
