Efficient handling of large concrete elements with the DVT-7.OT-180

The DEVO vertical plant supports the company Mangeolle from France in the concrete processing industry. The plant is mainly used to turn concrete elements, which reach a weight of up to 7 tons. The machine is permanently mounted on the ground and is loaded with concrete elements by a crane. As soon as the suction plates are completely in contact with the concrete element, the air is evacuated. Once the preset vacuum in the system and all other conditions are reached, the machine is released to turn the concrete element. The sucked-in concrete element can be turned 180° and lowered by means of the telescopic cylinder. The end positions of the turning forks are scanned by sensors. In order to be able to optimally cover the variety of concrete elements, the machine has two suction circuits. Suction circuit 1 with the middle suction plate is activated as standard. The suction circuit 2 with the two outer suction plates can be manually activated.
