New development: Destacking line D-T-500.02 for the company Flück Holzbau AG

The DEVO destacking system was developed for lifting and transporting wooden beams up to 13m in length. Mounted on a crane bridge, wooden beams can be approached carefully by means of radio control. As soon as the suction plates are completely in contact with the wooden element, the air is evacuated. A vacuum pump continuously extracts air from the tank (integrated in the structure of the crane trolley). By opening the valve between tank and suction plates, the atmosphere between suction plate and surface is evacuated. The ambient pressure presses the load against the suction plates. When the preset vacuum in the system and all other conditions are reached, the operator can lift the load. The suction element can be rotated 360° and moved in three axes using the movement functions. The end positions of the travel axes are queried via sensors. All functions are based on the dead man's principle - the axes can only be moved as long as the button or joystick is pressed.
